Corporate Accountant - Real Estate (Los Angeles, CA)
Location: Downtown Los Angeles (Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day WFH)
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $90-110k base + discretionary annual bonus
Start Date: ASAP

A leading institutional real estate investment manager is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join their highly professional, stable, and well-tenured corporate accounting team. Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Expense report processing and expense allocation across multiple funds and investments
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Journal entries and month-end close support
  • General accounting responsibilities supporting the Corporate Controller

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • 5+ years of experience in AP, AR, and general accounting
  • Exceptional attention to detail (critical for complex expense allocations)
  • Strong systems acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proactive mindset with strong follow-through on time-sensitive tasks

Preferred Experience

  • Background in real estate (not required)
  • Familiarity with MRI, AvidXchange, or Concur
